Its been a while since my last post – a long while.
With temps in the 40s and sun nice and bright its getting me in the mood to start thinking about summer and attending the Gettysburg College Civil War Institute this summer. I can’t wait.
With my retirement in June I will be able to spend more time in Gettysburg.
I just downloaded WhatsApp Messenger on my Android.
It is a smartphone messenger which replaces SMS. This app even lets me send pictures, video and other multimedia!
WhatsApp Messenger is available for Android, iPhone, Nokia, Windows Phone and BlackBerry and there is no PIN or username to remember – it works just like SMS and uses your internet data plan.
Get it now from http://www.whatsapp.com/download/ and say good-bye to SMS!
Working on an overall story from CWI 2012. Just keep watching.
Working on the top of the Pennsylvania Memorial on Wednesday afternoon.
The annual Gettysburg College Civil War Institute will get underway Friday afternoon.
I arrived in Gettysburg on Wednesday and immediately took my own tour of the battlefield where I came along something I have had never seen before – work being done to the top of the Pennsylvania Memorial.
I am now on vacation. Gettysburg here I came.
